YE "We all have rights" 18-26 Feb

Date:
18-26 February 2017 (18th is arrival day, 26th is departure)

Venue:
Sanem, Luxembourg

Groups:
8 participants (of age 16-30)

Countries:
Luxembourg, Poland, Estonia, Romania, Slovakia

Summary:

Human rights are fundamental for our lives but are very often overseen or taken for granted, at least in European countries. Yet, there are still many issues that need to be addressed. We believe that human rights education is very important and it is the civil society that plays significant role in it. Youth organizations have a great chance for an interesting topic for empowering projects but very often they are afraid of a too “heavy” and difficult topic and they rather choose the “easy” and “cool” topics. Partners, mainly focused on the global problems, which were of course taken much broader. Finally now, we feel that we are ready to succeed with a plan we were long preparing for, to organize international youth exchange with the topic of human rights.

Accommodation

Beautiful count center near Sanem. There is a good wi-fi connection. Bathroom and showers. Separated kitchen. Meal will be at activities room and we will need to take care of the furniture and the equipment in the room.

Travel cost

We reimburse you 100% of your travel cost for the way go and back. The reimbursement limit is according to your distance in kilometers.
